Informed sources have told All4Syria that the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) arrested the head of the opposition military council in the Hama province, Ahmed Birri., in the city of Saraqeb in Idleb province.
Meanwhile, a leader with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) confirmed that captain Ammar al- Wawi, was released on Saturday evening after being captured by ISIS.
The Abibal brigade had previously announced Wawi's disappearance along with three of his companions near the Bab al-Hawa border crossing a few days ago.
Wawi served as a Secretary of the Suprmeme Military Council, led formerly by brigadier Mustafa Sheikh. The Ababil brigade was formed at the beginning of the revolution to eliminate pro-regime militias in Aleppo city.
Wawi's brother said on Facebook that Wawi and his companions were released three days after their kidnap.
Meanwhile, FSA colonel Qassim Saadeddine denied some media reports saying that he will fight the Islamic forces and regime's forces all together.
"Their arms are only against the regime," he said in a statement of the group.
