High-Level UN Delegation Visits Idleb

On Tuesday morning, a United Nations delegation arrived in Idleb Governorate in northern Syria and visited one of the camps that is still being constructed.

The UN said in a report on its website that Deputy Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syria Crisis Mark Cutts, and United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Crisis in Syria Kevin Kennedy, and others visited four campsites in northwestern Syria.

According to the UN report, the Saed Charity Association is implementing the project. The delegation requested that the camps include green spaces, a school, a health center, and safe spaces for children and women.

There are a large number of camps in northern Syria, most of which suffer from an absence of the most basic services and necessities of life, and where the degree of interest and contributions by humanitarian organizations is inconsistent.
