In the gallery of the Idleb Cultural Center, Idleb’s first book fair is held with several publishing houses, libraries, and cultural and scientific groups.
The book fair kicked off on September 5th and will run until September 10th, in an effort to reactivate the region’s tradition of exhibitions and motivate residents to read, according to its organizers.

The Idleb book fair does not focus on one literary or scientific approach or discipline but combines various literary forms (poetry, story and novel) and topics such as religion, arts, education, behaviour, and pedagogy.
Throughout the week, more than 20 scientific, cultural, and literary figures will participate in the exhibition through lectures, seminars, and poetry evenings.
