The Commission of Revolutionary Forces in Aleppo said in a statement issued on Sunday that "UN envoy de Mistura's ideas did not level up to an initiative that could represent a solution to the pains of our people, who suffer from the regime's use of internationally banned chemical weapons and explosive barrels”.
The Commission confirmed, "de Mistura's ideas and comments undermine the agreed upon international resolutions, which include the formation of a transitional governing body with full powers, and the departure of Assad's regime".
The Commission announced that "Syria is one country, and the blood of our brothers in Daraa, Ghouta, Homs and the rest of Syria is no less important than our blood in Aleppo". The Commission announced its refusal to meet de Mistura, "unless to reach a comprehensive solution to the Syrian tragedy that includes the departure of Assad and his regime".
The Commission asked the international community to "assume its responsibilities to protect the civilians, and expel the sectarian militias and mercenaries".
