Asayish Announces ‘Return To Normal Life’ in Syria’s Hassakeh and Qamishli

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced on Tuesday the return to normal life in the cities of Hassakeh and Qamishli following over two weeks of tension in the cities.

Asayish spokesman Ali al-Hassan said at a press conference in the oil city of Rimelan that they had “allowed all materials to enter areas where Syrian regime forces are present in Hassakeh and Qamishli.”

The Asayish published a statement on its official website in which it said that the two cities had witnessed security tension “created by the Syrian regime to damage stability and brotherhood between the communities of the region.”

Informed sources told North Press on Tuesday that the Autonomous Administration and Damascus government had reached an agreement regarding the tension between the two parties in Aleppo and Hassakeh, and that there is a deal underway to lift the government’s siege of Aleppo’s northern countryside under Russian auspices.
