On Thursday, President Bashar al-Assad issued legislative decree No. 23 for the year 2019, which stipulates an increase to the salaries of civilian and military employees by 20,000 Syrian pounds, after adding the livelihood compensation granted to the categories that benefit from the provisions of legislative decree No. 7 for the year 2017 and the provisions of legislative decree No. 13 for the year 2016.
