14 Regime Fighters From Lattakia Killed in September

At least 14 regime fighters from Lattakia province were killed during September, including six officers reports Zaman Al Wasl.

At least 14 troops from the coastal Lattakia province were killed by rebels in September, pro-regime activists said.

The death toll included six officers. 

Rebels and jihadists have killed more than 130,000 pro-regime fighters since the armed conflict erupted eight years ago with the brutal repression of protests against Bashar al-Assad, according to local monitoring groups.

The conflict in Syria has killed more than 560,000 people and displaced 6.5 million.
