Fighters from the Syrian regime and a Russian journalist published photos from inside the city of Khan Sheikhoun in the southern countryside of Idleb.
The Russian journalist, Oleg Blokhin, who is accompanying the military operations of the regime forces, said on Telegram that the regime’s fighters had entered the city.
The journalist published photos of a commander from the regime forces from inside a major high school in the city, in addition to the publication of two videos showing his tour of the city along with fighters of the regime forces.
Pro-regime pages, including the Syria Homeland News Network, also published pictures of fighters inside the city of Khan Sheikhoun, hoisting the regime’s flag.
The entry of regime soldiers into Khan Sheikhoun comes days after the withdrawal of opposition armed factions from the city, following the advance of the regime forces.
