Syrian Arab Army units have broadened the scale of their military operations against terrorist groups and thwarted attempts to infiltrate the northern countryside of Hama.

On Wednesday, SANA’s reporter said that army units positioned in the northwestern countryside of Mhardeh used concentrated rocket barrages to target hotbeds and launchers of terrorist groups in the villages of Tal al-Sakher, al-Janabra, and al-Jariye, in response to breaches of the demilitarized zone, resulting in the destruction of a number of launchers and the killing and injuring many terrorists.

Earlier, the reporter said that army units thwarted terrorists’ infiltration attempts from al-Boweida town towards military positions in the northern countryside of Hama province, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists and destroying their fortified positions.
