“Think of Others” Initiative to Help Those in Need in Idleb Countryside

On Tuesday, Syrian activists launched the campaign “Think of Others” to help those in need and to encourage others to help out in the city of Saraqeb in the Idleb countryside.

The campaign, which was organized by the Saraqeb Youth Association is based on the idea of setting up five boxes inside the city of Saraqeb and then collecting used clothes inside them, and all those who are in need can take items for free.

Ahmed al-Khitab, director of the association, said in his explanation of the campaign on his Facebook page that “any person can donate any piece of clothing and put it in the box for those who need it.”

The idea of the campaign was welcomed by Syrians who saw in it as an idea to help others in a way that preserved their dignity.

The Saraqeb Youth Association has offered activities in terms of theatrical productions, and educational activities for children, as well as working on a satirical series called “The Curse of Serkhius.” There are 12 volunteers in the organization, most of who hold university degrees.
