Syrian armed forces inflicted heavy losses on terrorists in a string of operations targeting their cells in in Damascus countryside Wednesday, also destroying weapons and ammunition.
An official source told SANA that terrorists were killed and their weapons destroyed near the Thanawieh roundabout in Douma.
Army units also continued a crackdown on terrorist dens in Jarba, killing most of them, including the leader of one group, using the name 'Abu Karim,' the source said.
The source also said other units carried out two operations in Harasta to destroying a weapons cache, also killing many terrorists.
