A Saudi newspaper has reported that a senior source said about 100 tanks have entered Syria via a border point located between Iraq and Jordan.
The tanks reached the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the region, where its members have already received training to use them.
The source said vehicles delivered to the Syrian opposition are heavy military vehicles that have come from Europe and other foreign countries.
The source said they expected these weapons to increase offensive capabilities of the FSA and alter the balance of power on the ground.
