The Democratic Platform has carried out elections for the position of General Secretary of the executive bureau over three days.
An elected member of the bureau assured that the elections were held in a democratic fashion and have seen exceptional participation from the Platform's members.
The elections for the political bureau saw Rim Farha, Samir Aita and Mazen Gharibe win, while Michel Kilo lost by one vote, with 27 votes out of 69.
