Haitham al-Maleh allowed to enter Egypt

Maleh linked the new rules to the new regime in Egypt

Following intense international, security and diplomatic communications between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the chairman of the Legal Committee of the Syrian National Coalition,  Haitham al-Maleh has finally been allowed to enter Egypt.

The excuse provided for Maleh’s being prevented from entry was new rules requiring a security allowance and a visa for Syrians to enter Egypt.

In an interview with Zaman al-Wasl, Maleh said that the fate of 20 other Syrian families remains unknown after Egyptian authorities refused to let them in.

He added that some of the families don’t have any money to return the way they came.

Maleh linked the new rules to the new regime in Egypt which is similar to the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
