Aleppo Governor Mohamad Walid Aqqad confirmed that over 100 trucks loaded with various essential supplies including flour, fuel and food arrived in Aleppo city over the past 24 hours.
In a statement to SANA on Wednesday, Aqqad said that efforts are still underway to improve living conditions in the city, and that several types of essential goods will become available to residents in coming days. He stressed that providing the needs of Aleppo's people is a priority for the government.
Meanwhile, the distribution of gas cylinders at regular price recommenced in Aleppo city on Wednesday. Distribution will continue within the next few days to cover all residential areas.
Gasoline will also become available in gas stations in Aleppo in coming days after several months of it being unavailable due to current circumstances in the province.
