Over 9,000 Syrians to Sit Opposition-Run Baccalaureate Exam

The exams are expected to be recognized internatinoally

More than 9,450 Syrian students will sit their baccalaureate exam Friday under opposition administration and monitoring, in the liberated areas of Aleepo, Raqqa, Idleb, Deir El- Zor and in the refugee camps of Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan.


An opposition source from the rebels-held areas of Aleppo said it was expected that the exam will be recognized internationally.


"We confirm that our exams meet the high standards of fairness and accuracy, and are held under the supervision of the directorate of examinations," the source said.
