Air Force Intelligence in Aleppo Arrest 11 Humanitarian Activists

A campaign of arrests targeted relief operations

Following Bashar Assad's orders to stop the relief program providing food and medicine in Aleppo, the Air Force Intelligence in Aleppo, headed by Major General Adib Salameh launched a campaign of arrests against activists in the field of relief.


Sources said that Air Force Intelligence officials raided several houses in the neighborhoods of al-Furqan, Mogambo, Nile Street and al-Azamiah.


An activist who managed to escape before arrest confirmed that Air Force Intelligence arrested at least 11 activists, one of whom was in Latakia Airport planning to travel outside the country.
