Well-known activist Samira Kayyali, 20, has been kidnapped and killed by an unknown armed group near the town of Kafr Hamra in northern Aleppo, during her trip to Turkey last month, activists have reported.
Sources said that her body was found buried in a farm in the Aleppo countryside.
Kayyali was a prominent young activist who spent most of her time helping wounded people in Aleppo field hospitals as a volunteer nurse.
