More Than 300,000 Detainees in Regime Prisons

The Union of Coordination Committees of Syrian Revolution said it considered the photos broadcasted by Anatolia News Agency of the 11,000 Syrian detainees who died under torture  evidence of war crimes committed by the Syrian regime.

 

In a statement, the Union made a plea to all human rights organizations and media institutions to put more pressure on the Assad regime to save the lives of more than 300,000 still inside regime prisons.

 

The statement praised the role of free media, especially Anatolia News Agency for its response to the tragedy of Syrian people by reporting the facts about the human rights violations of Syrian regime.
