Thousands of people from the town of Sayyeda Zeinab and surrounding areas took to the streets in support of the Syrian Arab Army and the process of national reconciliation which is taking place in several areas.
Demonstrators carried posters of President Bashar Assad and chanted slogans expressing their rejection of the so-called external opposition.
Member of the Governorate’s Executive Bureau, Muneir Shaaban, said that Damascus Countryside is witnessing several dramatic changes, such as the consecutive victories achieved by the army and the national reconciliation events in many areas.
