Rebels Storm Barracks South of Aleppo

Fighters with the key rebel group the Islamic Front have stormed barracks of the regime army near Sfira Defense Factories south of Aleppo, killing at least 15 troops, activists and Twitter feeds reported.

 

Activists said rebels have taken control of Sudaaiya village and parts of al-Adnaniyah village near the strategic town of Sfira.

 

Meanwhile, rebels have targeted regime bastions near the Nairab military airport east of Aleppo, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

 

Regime forces have also bombarded the Layramoun neighborhood north of Aleppo, with no reports of casualties, according to the Observatory.
