ISIS Shoots Down Regime Aircraft in Hama

The Unified Observatory in Hama said the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria managed to shoot down a MiG-21 fighter plane belonging to the Syrian regime in the countryside of Hama on Monday. The fate of its pilot is still unknown.

 

According to information obtained by an Anatolia News Agency reporter from the Observatory: "The plane is number 660, and the name of the pilot is Saker. He is from the Houla region in Homs countryside."

 

"The Observatory managed to listen to the calls between the military aircraft and the airport," the reporter said.
