The de facto ruler of the areas under regime control, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has sent a message to the regime's shabeeha in Nubbul and Zahra, asking them to stand fast, and likening them to the companions of Hussein in Karbala.
The message, in the form of a letter, was read by the shabeeha leaders in the two towns, and was published on Qassem Sulaimani's Facebook page, reading:
"Your commander, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sends his regards to you, one by one. He watches your bravery with all joy and jubilation, because you were like the fellows of Hussein in Karbala. The heroes of Zahra and Nubbul, God bless your faces and your victory over your enemies. You amazed the world with your patience, steadfastness and courage."
"You are the righteous and the liberals, and you are the pride of the nation. You carry the banner of the right and the victory of the right, and your enemies are the people of falsehood… and falsehood will vanish. This is your land, and here is your pride, all the world knows who you are; you are the sons of Zahra".
The message confirms that the role of the mullahs in Tehran in Syria are no longer confined to the political, military, financial and logistical support, but has become a direct occupation, especially after the news about the intention of Iran to form a sectarian army parallel to the army of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and the campaign of acquisition of real estates in Damascus, Aleppo and Homs, as well as forcing businessmen to sell their property to Iranian businessmen.
