Prime Minister Wael al-Halki began on Monday an official visit to Iran heading a government delegation.
The premier is scheduled to hold meetings and talks with senior Iranian officials that are aimed at developing and broadening the scope of bilateral cooperation and coordination between Syria and Iran, according to the Cabinet’s press office.
The visit is expected to last several days.
