Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Humam al-Jazaeri met with Algerian Ambassador in Damascus, Saleh Bosha, to discuss improving trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on new markets for Syrian exports.
Minister Jazaeri called for a dialogue between the ambassador and Syrian businesses operating in Algeria, highlighting the need for continued coordination to facilitate the flow of goods and investments between the two countries.
Bosha noted that the Algerian Trade Register has placed Syria second in ratings of foreign business volume, with more than 1,300 commercial and investment activities.
