The Russian Coordination Center for reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase announced that no breaches of the ceasefire agreement were observed in the Damascus suburbs of Eastern Ghouta over the past few days.

Head of the center Sergei Kuralenko told journalists on Wednesday that 91 towns had joined the agreement since its introduction, adding that 52 application forms had been signed with the center to join the truce.

He also asserted that the Russian center at the airbase is in daily contact with its US counterpart in Amman to exchange information on breaches.

Kuralenko pointed out that the center receives reliable information from more than 15 civil organizations operating in Syria

The center observed 470 truce violations by armed terrorist groups since the agreement came into effect on February 27.
