Families Escape Terrorist Crimes in Aleppo’s Eastern Neighborhoods

Local sources claim militants preventing hundred of families from leaving as dozens flee rebel-held eastern Aleppo

Authorities received scores of families fleeing terrorist groups the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city on Tuesday, according to Syrian state media.

SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that the families were transferred to makeshift housing centers after escaping the eastern neighborhoods toward the city’s government controlled western neighborhoods.

The locals confirmed that terrorist groups are preventing hundreds of families from leaving the eastern neighborhoods of the city, using them as human shields and opening fire on those who attempt escape.

They also pointed out that the residents of Karm al-Jabal neighborhood took to the streets in demonstrations calling on Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham militants to leave the area and cease hostilities.
