The Syrian Embassy in Beirut said that the mistreatment of Syrian citizens working in Lebanon and the indecent practices against them violate all values, conventions and fraternal relationships between the two countries.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the embassy hailed the stance of Lebanese President Michel Aoun, who called upon all citizens to refrain from provocation and incitement against the displaced Syrians.
The statement urged people not to exaggerate or ignite disputes and divisions because of the harmful consequences of such behaviors.
It added that the embassy is following up on the issues of Syrian citizens and is sparing no effort to preserve their dignity and rights.
