On Tuesday, the number of victims of a massacre, which was carried out by the Bashar al-Assad regime's forces when they bombed civilians hiding in a shelter in the city of Arbain in the Eastern Ghouta, increased.

The number of martyrs of the massacre, which was carried out on Monday, rose to 20, including 16 children and four women. Local sources in the Eastern Ghouta said that Assad’s forces had targeted a shelter in a school by dropping barrel bombs.

Activists published images on social media of the place where the barrels fell, showing children perishing during the bombing.

In parallel, Assad regime and Russian warplanes bombed the city of Douma on Monday night, with the heavy raids making it difficult for the medical teams who mobilized during the bombardment.

The Kumait agency published a video clip showing the moment the barrel bombs fell on residential districts in Douma.
