The Russian Defence Ministry said that four Russian military advisers were killed in a terrorist attack on a Syrian Arab Army’s military position in Deir-ez-Zor province.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said that terrorist groups attacked a military position affiliated to the Syrian Arab Army in Deir-ez-Zor countryside.
The ministry added that two Russian military advisers were killed on the spot and five others were injured and transported to hospital. Later, two more servicemen succumbed to their injuries.
The attack ended by killing 43 terrorists and destroying six heavy vehicles, the ministry concluded.
