The Assad Regime and Iran’s Cells Operate in the SDF-held Areas of Deir Ezzor Countryside

Leaflets calling on people to rise up against the international coalition and the SDF were spread yesterday in the villages and towns of Deir Ezzor countryside, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), local sources said.

According to the network correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, clandestine groups (cells) belonging to the Assad regime are the ones who distributed the leaflets in several villages of the countryside.

The papers spread read:

“It is time to join hands in the face of greedy invaders.”

“There is no place for the criminal Americans on our soil, they are murderers of children, old people and women.”

“Let us stand united against them in order for Syria to return as a land of security and stability.”

“It is our right to have a safe and secure life for our children”

It is noteworthy that these leaflets were spread by Assad’s forces following protests and a popular movement that occurred in Deir Ezzor in the last few days, in which people demanded that Assad forces and the Iranian militias leave the eastern Euphrates.
