Resources Minister Ali Ghanem on Sunday discussed with Iranian Ambassador to Damascus Jawad Turk Abadi the prospect of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil, gas and mineral resources.
Ghanem stressed the importance of enhancing the bilateral cooperation and the participation of Iranian companies in production and extraction projects in a way that would serve the interests of both sides.
For his part, Turk Abadi indicated that Iranian companies have the qualifications and the expertise to carry out oil projects, stressing that his country will continue to provide all forms of support to Syria.
