A Syrian rebel group fighting Islamic State militants in the northern province of Aleppo has recaptured two villages from the radical group, its commander said on Saturday.
Shamiya Front fighters recaptured the villages of Harajleh and Dalha along the Turkish border, inflicting heavy losses on ISIS forces, the group's leader told Zaman al Wasl.
Senior Shamiya Front commander Abu Mohamed said dozens of ISIS fighters were killed in the fighting, while four more were held captive. There were no casualties among his group, he added.
