Moscow Plans to Return Refugees to Syrian Regime

Human rights organization AVAZ has revealed that the Russian government intends to deliver hundreds of Syrian refugees to the Syrian regime, under an agreement to deliver them to authorities in Damascus.

 

The Russian Presidential Human Rights Council has told the Russian President Vladimir Putin that the agreement includes some Syrians who may be executed if they are returned to Syria.

 

Member of the Council Yevgeny Bubrov told a press briefing in Moscow that the refugees "may be executed as soon as they arrive Syria."

 

According to prominent human rights activist Svetlana Ganushkina, the Russian court also issued a resolution to deliver a Syrian who applied for refuge in Russia.

 

The Information Bureau of Moscow police said that 586 Syrian citizens are living now in an illegal immigration camp in Moscow where employees of a federal commission are following up on their return.
