Jihadi Movement in Jordan Announces 25 Members Killed in Syria

The jihadist movement in Jordan announced on Monday that 25 members of its leadership, including Arabs and Chechens, have been killed in Syria in clashes with government's troops.

 

A prominent leader in the movement told United Press International that "20 jihadist leaders were killed in Syria in the period during clashes with government's troops. Among them there were Chechens, Tunisians, Iraqis, Saudis and Libyans."

 

"Five Jordanian leaders were also killed in the same clashes," the leader added.

 

The movement earlier announced that Jordanian security forces have arrested two of its members when they arrived Queen Alia International Airport, "coming from Aleppo through a Turkish airport.".
