The Syrian opposition's education directorate has suspended school in the western and southern Aleppo countryside until the end of the week due to the heavy bombardment campaign targeting the region.
The directorate said in a statement on Tuesday that classes would be stopped in the countryside of the province until the end of the week, out of concern for the safety of teachers and students. It said the move was taken in response to “the monstrous attack by the criminal regime and the Russian occupier’s warplanes on the city’s groups, and the direct targeting of schools and facilities.”
