People of Quneitra Protest Israeli Wind Turbines Project

Locals from the province of Quneitra expressed solidarity with the people of the occupied Syrian Golan in the face of the arbitrary practices by the Israeli occupying authorities and expressed their rejection of a wind turbines project that the Israeli entity intends to carry out to steal the lands and usurp them from people of the occupied Golan.

During a solidarity stand held in front of the governorate’s building in Al-Baath City, the people of Quneitra expressed their confidence that the Golan will return to the Syrian national sovereignty.

They denounced the colonial projects, the latest of which is the project to set up huge wind turbines on the lands of the occupied Syrian Golan.

In interviews with the SANA reporter, locals from the province said that the Golan will remain a Syrian Arab land, that the powers of arrogance over the world will not change its demographic status and identity and that the Golan was an inseparable part of Syrian sovereignty.

They affirmed that people of the occupied Syrian Golan will remain steadfast in the face of the arbitrary practices against them by the Israeli occupation forces.
