Multiple explosions were heard inside the U.S. occupation base in the al-Tanf region in the Homs eastern countryside, near the border between Syria and Iraq.
SANA’s reporter quoted local sources as saying that multiple explosions had been heard inside a U.S. base in the al-Tanf region.

The sources added that military helicopters affiliated with the occupation forces were seen over the area following the explosions.
On October 20th, U.S. officials announced that an attack by drones targeted the base as well.
The U.S. occupation forces established in 2014 a military base in the al-Tanf area under the pretext of combating the Daesh terrorist organization, but the facts proved later that the occupation forces exploited the base to support the terrorist organizations that it had established by providing them with logistic, intelligence, and armament support. This included Takfiri terrorist groups that were asked to carry out attacks on the Syrian Arab army, as well as residential gatherings and the vital facilities in the Syrian al-Badia.
