On Sunday evening (September 3rd), the Syrian National Army’s military police seized a narcotic pills factory in the town of Jindires, in the Afrin district of the northern Aleppo countryside.

According to a Baladi News reporter in the Aleppo countryside, a joint force between the military police and the national army raided a farm located on the front lines. A laboratory was seized, which is the first of its kind to manufacture narcotic pills.

According to our correspondent, the plant belongs to a military commander of the Syrian National Army. The owners of the plant are being pursued after their escape.

He pointed out that the Military Police Department praised the work of the military police branch in Jindires and their efforts in cooperation with the National Army’s units in pursuing and arresting a gang manufacturing and trafficking drugs.

The National Army has launched several campaigns to arrest drug traffickers, dealers, and users. They have arrested dozens of suspects in efforts to hinder the spread of drugs which is increasing in northern Syria.
