An entire family was killed by Iranian militias, on Monday, while the family members were searching for truffles in the countryside of Maskanah, east of Aleppo.
Local sources said, through Facebook, that unidentified persons, likely members of Liwa Fatemiyoun, shot down a group of civilians who were collecting truffles in the desert of al-Mohsen village, south of Maskanah, killing a family of four.
The sources indicated that the family members who were killed were Mohammad al-Abed, 52, his wife, Raghad, 44, their daughter, 26, and their son, 19.
The regime-controlled areas have witnessed, over the past month, several incidents of killing and theft, mostly affecting sheepherders and truffle pickers. Iranian militias are mainly accused of being responsible for the killings.
