Supreme Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the U.S. has made mistakes in handling the crisis in Syria and that U.S. interests will be harmed if they launch any aggressive acts in the country.
During a meeting with members of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday, Khamenei said the issue of the alleged chemical attack in Syria is nothing but a pretext for the Americans to intervene in Syria under the guise of human rights.
"Who doesn’t know that these allegations are completely false," Khamenei asked.
He said "the front of arrogance" has already determined its interests according to its colonialist vision and wants to destroy any resistance to its plots.
