The Free Syrian Army (FSA) targeted President Bashar Assad's Palaces in Damascus with mortar rounds on Monday, rebel leaders reported.
Footage released by the military council of Damascus and its suburbs and circulated on the Internet showed smoke rising from the People's Palace, Assad’s main residence.
The rebels also confirmed they had shelled Assad’s house in the Malki neighborhood.
