With news of death and destruction across Syria again Tuesday, the local council of the city of Daraya, in the Damascus outskirts, has launched a campaign called "A Tale of Hope", aiming to highlight the humanitarian situation of the people trapped inside the city.
The campaign reflects the challenges of dozens of women and children trapped inside the area, facing the constant bombardment by government forces. Forming a human chain in the streets of the city, the participants held cardboard signs drawing attention to the continuous suffering they are exposed to.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, six people were killed and dozens were injured in al-Bab, east of Aleppo with shelling and rocket fire from al-Sfeira, after regime forces retook control of the town and the village of Azizia.
Activists warned of massacres by the regime if its forces continued their progress towards the eastern part of the city of Aleppo, while in the neighborhoods of Furqan and Nile Street in Aleppo, residents witnessed raids and arrests campaigns.
In Idleb, the village of Sheikh Mustafa was subjected to bombing and rocket fire, resulting in the injury of dozens of residents.
In the village of Al-Zara in Homs saw a number of residents, most of them children, injured in strikes.
Meanwhile, warplanes launched air raids dropping explosive barrels on the towns of Kfar Nbudeh and Kfar Zeita in Hama countryside for the third day in a row.
In Damascus and its countryside, the opposition activist newtwork the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that air strikes struck the southern outskirts of the city in a new attempt by regime forces to regain control over the region.
Activists confirmed that a four-year-old child died in the neighborhood of al-Hajar al-Aswad, due to the lack of medicine as a result of the tight siege on the neighborhood.
