Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Suleiman al-Abbas on Monday said that maintenance operations to repair the damaged part of the Arabic gas pipeline in al-Baytariyeh area in Damascus countryside are finished.
Terrorists attacked the pipeline on Friday, damaging parts of it and leading to the breakdown of turbines for electricity generation that supply the southern areas of Syria.
In a statement to SANA, the Minister said the pipeline was put into service on Sunday evening after a 48 hour-repair operation.
