The Syrian National Coalition has asked the U.N. Security Council to apply Chapter VII of the Security Council, under resolution No. 2118.
The request comes after the Syrian regime "has passed the required period to give up its chemical weapons and failed to handover more than 4% of the chemical stockpile," according to a Coalition statement.
British Prime Minister David Cameron told British parliament on Thursday he will put more pressure on Syria to give up its chemical stockpile.
