Turkish authorities have released two members of the Syrian opposition Syrian National Coalition after five days of detention over passport validity, well-informed sources told Zaman al-Wasl.
The source told Zaman al-Wasl in a phone call that Hivaron Shareef, the representative of the Kurdish Council in NC, political commission member, and Yahiya Maktabi, were arrested at one of the Turkish airports for five days before being released after mediation by fellow opposition members. No one from Shareef's political bloc was included.
The source refused to elaborate.
