President of Building the Syrian State current, Louay Hussein, will undergo a public trial on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the current, the Damascus Second Criminal Court has decided to hold the public session of Hussein's trial on Monday (today).
Hussein will be trailed on charges of spreading false news, affecting the morale of the nation and weakening nationalism – charges the Syrian regime continually use against its opponents since the Damascus Spring.
Hussein was arrested while attempting to leave Syrian territory for Lebanon.
