‘Damascus Dollar’ Continues to Rise, Central Bank Raises Official Dollar

The "Damascus dollar" has begun its rise after the intervention session of the Central Bank of Syria on Tuesday.

The Damascus dollar rate rose by one lira on Wednesday, registering 310 pounds buy and 313 pounds sell.

In turn, the Central Bank slightly raised the rate of the official dollar to 241.17 buy and 242.62 pounds sell, while the price of "transfer dollars" stabilized at 285 pounds.
