Fighting terrorism is the primary prelude for any political solution to the crisis in Syria, said Moallem during a meeting with the Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa on Sunday.
Muallem said it is necessary that countries which support terrorism must be compelled to stop in abidance with the UN Security Council’s counterterrorism resolutions.
The Syrian FM also expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic’s position on what is happening in Syria.
For his part, Tlapa stressed the importance of engaging in the fight against terrorism, voicing his country’s solidarity with the Syrians’ suffering under terrorist acts.
