Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa said on Wednesday that his country is seeking a quick solution to the crisis in Syria and will assist in restoring security and stability.
During a visit to the Saydet al-Niyah Church in the Zeitoun quarter in Damascus, Tlapa likened Syria to a phoenix, which will rise from the ashes and will continue to contribute to human civilization as it always has.
For his part, Father Maher Mansour stressed the importance of boosting relations that bind the people and governments of the Czech Republic and Syria, hailing the stance of Prague in providing aid to Syrians.
